Two New Protein Products to hit Stores this Fall
First is the Power Pie™, a new protein snack from FINAFLEX® that’s inspired by our iconic MoonPie®. Power Pie™ is a milk chocolate covered, non-GMO, super stacked protein snack built with all-natural ingredients that sandwiches two soft & chewy cookies together with a creamy marshmallow filling, delivering 14 grams of protein in every pie. Both chocolate and vanilla varieties will be available. According to FINAFLEX, initial distribution in August, 2022 will be online, in a national network of gyms / workout clubs, in specialty accounts like Vitamin Shoppe and GNC, as well as in the pharmacy department at Walmart (where similar meal replacement protein items are sold). Distribution will eventually build to select Grocery accounts, also in the protein section. The Power Pie will retail between $3.49 - $3.99 per pie and will be manufactured in Evanston, IL at an approved FINAFLEX co-pack facility.
Second is a traditional core protein powder from RYSE Supplements. RYSE’s MoonPie® Loaded Protein combines premium ingredients including, 25g of Whey Protein with whey Isolate as its primary source, added Prebiotic Fiber for digestive and health benefits and added MCT’s to help boost metabolism – all within a delicious Chocolate MoonPie flavor. Initial distribution for the MoonPie Protein Powder includes Walmart and other mass and specialty chains as well as gyms and online. The MoonPie loaded Protein comes in a 20-serving tub that retails around $35.99 and is manufactured in Allen, TX at an approved RYSE co-pack facility.
