WSJ: "America Is Binging on Snacks, and Food Companies Are Eating It Up"

This is a great The Wall Street Journal article on the role snacking plays with Americans in general and particularly with younger people.

“Nick Graham, global head of insights and analytics for Mondelez, said millennials and Gen Z consumers, generally in their teens to early 40s, on average eat about 10% more snacks daily compared with other generations, partly due to what he said were their busier lifestyles.”

Kids love MoonPies, too!

“Retailers that continue to lean into snacking and emphasize things like secondary displays, endcaps with snack brands, pallet drops, and proper signage will continue to outperform retailers that bury snack brands inline and don’t support things like secondary displays.”
