Most Romantic Memory (click here for more romantic memories) Found your 100 happy birthday article in the Tampa Tribune today and
really
had a happy feeling in my heart. I was engaged to a sweet little sailor
during the Vietnam era and we had a big ole fight because he bought a
new
car and I sent his ring back. Well, he drove from Alameda Naval base in
San
Francisco to Pensacola Florida to tell me off for the last time. Well,
we
ended up going to Brewton Alabama the day after he got there and got married
in the court house on an unbelievable raining day. The weather was so
bad
the judge waited at the court house to marry us. When we left the court
house my new husband went into this little ole country store for our wedding
dinner, je came out carrying Two RC Cola's and Two Moon Pies. To this
day
we always celebrate August 7th with RC Cola's and Moon Pies. That was
37 years ago in 1965.
