My "Moon Pie" memory may not be a favorite, but it is one that I will always remember. The year was 1963, I was 3 years old, sitting on top of my parents dresser. I was eating a moon pie but I do not recall the flavor. I was watching the funeral of John F. Kennedy. I can remember this as if it were yesterday. This is one day I will never forget. To this day, my son and I both love "Moon Pies". This is one treat our house will always have in it.
I hope that you will consider this memory. It was a historical time in my life with moon pies. I can not believe that I remember this, but I do. I always will!
