Most Clever Memory

In 1961, inspired by my older brother, we decided to send the neighbor girl to the moon for moonpies. We fastened a rope to the top of an evergreen tree, pulled it down to the ground and staked it. We tied the Radio Flyer Wagon to the top of the tree. We seated the neighbor girl into the wagon and cut the staked rope. The wagon flew up and dangled three feet off the ground with the girl still holding on for dear life. Since the plan failed, we helped her down and went inside to enjoy a moonpie each.
